Yes. In addition to the local MassHire board and an employer partner (one of which is required per chosen industry sector), examples might be different types of employers, designated apprentice programs, workforce career centers, or community based organizations.
Connecting Activities (CA) is a statewide network, organized through the sixteen MassHire Workforce Boards, connecting employers and schools to support work-based learning and other career development education activities for students. Innovation Career Pathways benefits from this network, and many schools are involved with CA and leverage their work and strong partnerships with MassHire Boards to build Innovation Career Pathways.

There are a variety of rich resources to support partner organizations and employers, including some at ConnectEd, the Massachusetts Work-Based Learning Plan Skills Library, and MA Connecting Activities. The library of resources also contains a host of resources that are relevant to partner organizations.
Workforce development boards (MassHire) must agree to serve as a lead partner in an Innovation Career Pathway. There must also be at least one employer from the industry sector who also agrees to serve as a partner to the LEA.
