What is the value or benefit of an Innovation Career Pathways designation?

The Innovation Career Pathways designation confers membership in a community of practice. This group of peers convenes regularly (officially, via structured workshops/webinars, and informally) to exchange ideas and tackle shared challenges. Wherever you are in the development and implementation of your program, you will have access to events, curated resources, and coaching that is designed to support you each step of the way in the process of creating pathways that improve opportunities and outcomes for your students.

In the words of two long-time members of the network, “There are many benefits for pathway designation. Funding is part of it, but I can share a number of benefits now that we are about 7-8 years in. From authenticity, improving attendance and discipline, supporting connections between business/industry and schools, and being able to showcase student work to not just our community but across the state – there are many, many benefits.” And, “Other benefits of expanding pathways include planning grant funding, state recognition for prospective partnerships, community of practice, and colleges/universities prefer to see state-approved programs.”
